While Scott has been practicing law in Port Orchard for nearly 30 years, he has a lifetime commitment to serving families and helping kids lead healthy and productive lives.
After graduating with a degree in Social Work, Scott began his career working at a residential treatment center for behaviorally and emotionally disturbed children. It eventually led him to continue his education with a Masters in Counseling and a position with Child Protective Services. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate and opened his solo law practice in 1994. With a focus on family law, real estate, and estate planning, Scott has been a tireless advocate of justice.
Scott is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, and is a member of both the Family Law Section and Real Estate/Probate Section. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court of Western Washington and the State of Washington Supreme Court. Scott is also a member of his local Kitsap County Bar Association.
When he is not practicing law or volunteering with Kitsap Legal Services, Scott can be found cycling around town, working in his garden, or out with his family. He has a wife of more than 40 years, four grown children, and five grandchildren and counting.
